Are there any templates or settings where you can add permanent/static content to the home page?October 29, 2019 at 1:55 pm #644BobSupport
You can try to add your own content by editing the index.hbs file (Documents ▸ Publii ▸ sites ▸ YOUR_SITE ▸ input ▸ themes ▸ YOUR_THEME)
To preserve the custom code changed from being overwritten the next time your theme is updated, please make sure you have created override files, which are essentially copies of the existing theme files and are stored separately → https://getpublii.com/dev/theme-overrides/

Thank you, I’ll take a look at that.November 4, 2019 at 12:22 pm #683tonywaghorn
I managed to get some static content into the page template, but is there anyway to make that only appear on the home page? Does it have a special page ID?
Or is this where I’d need a template with a Hero area?
ThanksNovember 4, 2019 at 2:22 pm #686BobSupport
If you modify the index.hbs file, the changes will be visible on the main page only.
