It is. You have to decide which version of the URL to use and redirect the others to this one.

For example: https://www.siteground.com/kb/how_to_redirect_www_urls_to_nonwww/

I have tried redirecting all non-www to www. The problem persists. I think this is a bug related to the Technews theme.
